The challenge
Large open spans and long cable runs made coverage difficult, and there was no notification when the site was entered after hours.
Warehousing
Logistics Warehouse Surveillance Deployment
Placeholder project record. A logistics warehouse needed coverage of loading bays, aisles and the external yard, with reliable out-of-hours detection.
Jebel Ali, Dubai, UAE
The solution provided
High-mounted cameras over aisles and bays, PTZ coverage of the yard, PoE switching sized for the camera load, and an intrusion alarm with mobile notification.
Results
- Continuous coverage of bays, aisles and yard
- Out-of-hours intrusion notifications
- Network headroom for future camera additions
